Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 5, 2026
1. Introduction
At UtilityGhar, your privacy is our main concern. We believe tools should be helpful, fast, and secure. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your data.
2. Client-Side Processing (Your Data Stays Yours)
UtilityGhar’s main principle is privacy by design.
File Processing: When you use our tools to compress images, edit audio, format PDFs, or parse JSON, your files are never uploaded to our servers. All processing happens locally on your device within your web browser using WebAssembly and client-side JavaScript. Once you close the tab, the data is erased.
3. Information We Collect
We do not collect or store your file content or tool inputs. However, we gather standard digital telemetry and traffic data to keep the site running efficiently and improve user experience:
- Analytics & Site Traffic Data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage statistics, including page views, visit counts, traffic sources, average time spent on site, device and browser specifications, and user interactions with our tools.
- Local Storage: We use your browser's localStorage to preserve site preferences, such as dark mode settings, recently used tools, and saved favorites. This data remains on your local device.
4. Network-Dependent Tools
While the vast majority of our tools operate completely offline in your browser, select utility features require external network connectivity to function. These include:
- DNS Lookup
- IP Checker
- HTTP Header Checker
- Website Meta Tag Analyzers
When using network-dependent tools, standard API requests are initiated. We do not log or store these external queries on our servers.
5. Third-Party Services & Google Analytics
We employ third-party service providers to host our infrastructure, measure website performance, analyze site traffic, and deliver advertisements:
- Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) provided by Google LLC to measure website traffic, monitor tool performance, and understand user interaction patterns. Google Analytics collects anonymized browser data and usage events using cookies and unique identifiers. The information generated regarding your site usage is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy practices. You can learn more about how Google uses data at Google's Partner Policy, or opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Google AdSense & Ad Partners: We may serve third-party advertisements via Google AdSense. Advertising networks may utilize cookies or web beacons to display personalized or contextual ads based on your visit history across the internet.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
UtilityGhar uses cookies primarily for analytics traffic measurement and site operations. Google Analytics places first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) in your browser to distinguish sessions and calculate aggregate visitor statistics. You can configure your browser to reject or clear cookies at any time, though some site functions may depend on browser storage.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Service does not target anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally. We will inform you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
